Part of the design incorporated an open span for the kitchen lounge & dining room area. This was put together on site, after detailed steel fabrication by ARC welding limited
With the house starting to take shape, it was time for the carpenters to work their magic with a large cut roof
The large cut roof gave the clients a roof space of 10.5m x 5m with a walking height of 2.7m. This was all tied & toothed in with smaller timber bracing both vertically & horizontally
With the cut roof completed, the main partition studs on the 1st floor can begin
Working closely with the structural engineer, the main joists were doubled up & flitch beams positioned accordingly
With the cut roof completed, it was time to get the roofers on site !
